Chai Bond
hearts bloom together
A fruity blend that combines the refreshing aroma of cardamom and black pepper with the sweetness of star anise and the warmth of ginger.
Its gentle flavor is made from carefully selected tea leaves and spices. The deep aroma of the tea leaves and spices at the moment of brewing is the same as the aroma of a chaotic chai stall on the streets of India. Please enjoy this chai as if you were at a lively stall where people gather to hear the cries of "Chai! Chai! Chai!"
Ingredients: Black tea, ginger, star anise, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, cloves
Recommended ways to enjoy
If making in a pot (2 cups)
・Put 80ml of water and 2 tea bags in a pot. *The tea leaves should just barely be submerged in the water. ・Heat over medium heat → When it starts to boil, turn off the heat, cover and let steep for 3 minutes (if you boil it in water first and then add the milk, the flavor will come out better).
After 3 minutes (enjoy the aroma in the pot at this point), add 300ml of milk and heat again. Once it boils, turn off the heat, add 6-10g of sugar and it's done.
Microwave oven (1 cup)
・Put 40ml of water and one tea bag in a heat-resistant cup and heat at 600W for 50 seconds. *The tea leaves should be just barely submerged in the water. ・Once heating is complete (this is the time to enjoy the aroma in the cup), add 150ml of milk and heat at 600W for 90 seconds. ・Add 5-6g of sugar and it's done.
If you drink it iced
Since the ice will dilute the flavor, we recommend using twice the usual number of tea bags.
Brew it strong in a pot or microwave, then pour it into a container with ice and chill it thoroughly before enjoying.
